Very much deserves a "local flavor" designation. It's a tough one to find; the turn is onto Bay Forest Road, and there's a sign only if you're coming from a westernly direction (i.e. civilization)...

My first impression of Elms Beach Park was Abysmal,I am very disappointed by the hygiene standards of the bathrooms that have shrouded in the park in a very awful scent full of feces.Additionally...

Im on vacation from NY and i came to this beach for the first time and $25 is VERY pricy. The park is OK. But there are no lifeguards and there is a GIANT amount of jelly fish and crabs. 5 kids...
