She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine with a special focus on primary care and dermatology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, in Boston.After marrying a fellow Georgetown School of Medicine graduate, Dr. Farrell worked as an internist at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, for one year.In addition to heading Laser Lisse, Dr. Farrell practices outpatient medicine with her father and two sisters at Frekko Primary Care in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She is on staff at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and is a member of the Montgomery County Medical Society, MedChi, and Georgetown Clinical Society.Dr. Farrell was chosen as a Top Doc in Washingtonian and Consumers Checkbook magazines. In her spare time, Dr. Farrell loves tennis, yoga, and playing sports and engaging in other activities with her husband and three children.
