History
Owner Janet Schilling created the B&B in this historic property when she moved to St. Michaels from California in 1993. The inn is the ideal business to showcase this former attorney's talents and passions - cooking, gardening, creative design, remodeling, entertaining - all with attention to detail. The inn began life as a tavern in 1799 and its tradition of hospitality is carried on today.
