Dr. Ravert received her BA in History from the University of Washington and worked in information technology for eight years before attending Towson University, where she received a BS in Chemistry. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins. She was the Medical Director of the industry-leading Forensic Nurse Examiner program at ChristianaCare in Delaware and on the Board of Directors for a small democratic group of emergency physicians before returning to Johns Hopkins in 2024 to pursue her passion for collaborative pursuit of real solutions for pressing health care issues.
