County Council Administrator

The County Council Administrator works under the government of Prince George s County, Md. It coordinates and manages the responsibilities of the legislative branch, including the clerk of the council, the zoning hearing examiner's office, the board of appeals and the office of audits and investigations. The council administrator is responsible for developing and supervising management techniques to assure that the council is provided with technical, professional and clerical support required for decision making. It develops concepts, objectives and policies for council decisions and establishes priorities to meet council objectives. Located in Upper Marlboro, Md., the County Council Administrator reviews the performance of staff for conformity to policies and objectives and ensures coordination between staff members, other county departments and bicounty agencies.
