CountryHouse Residence

Since the 80th Anniversary of the Bethlen Home in 2001, we've started to compile a database of names and addresses of persons who once lived at the Children's Home. We held reunions in 2001 and 2003. Volunteers provide friendly visits, sometimes staying with the patient while the caregiver is out of the home. They are good listeners who provide emotional and spiritual support, run errands, read to the patient, pray together, help organize family photos and mementos, watch TV together.

Hidden Springs Senior Living is a single-story country-style home located a few short miles south of the northern entrance to the Skyline Drive. We are situated on twenty acres of farmland atop a hill with panoramic views of the Blue Ridge and Massanutten mountains. An outdoor enthusiast can take a leisure walk over our landscaped grounds, relax with a friend on our front porch, or dine on one of our patios. Gardeners can enjoy raised flower/vegetable beds to call their own. One and all can view a sunrise or sunset from our enclosed sunrooms. Both Daryl and Vicki grew up on farms with strong Christian values and are lifelong residents of historic Limeton, Virginia.
