Congregation Beth El

Congregation Beth El is a synagogue that offers education and training on Jewish tradition. The facility allows members to pray, learn and celebrate a variety of festivals and occasions. Congregation Beth El was founded in 1951 as a synagogue of 16 families and now has grown to a membership of more than 900 families. It also operates a religious and kindergarten school that offers education to over 400 students. Additionally, the facility offers various rooms for reception parties, weddings, dinners, birthdays, meetings, conferences and funerals. Congregation Beth El also maintains various member and interest groups, including sisterhood, men's club, Zhava, and youth and senior activities. In additionally, it offers various funds for educational, recreational, social and religious purposes. Congregation Beth El is located in Bethesda, Md.
