Clara Barton dedicated her life to help others. Glen Echo was her home the last 15 years of her life & the structure illustrates her dedication & concern for others. Tours of the house are free & offered on the hour every day of the week from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (last tour at 4:00 pm).

Was passing bye and spontaneously stopped in to visit. It is closed for renovations indefinitely. Check to see if it is open before you go.

The guided tour were interesting. There isn't much original furniture to see here but you will learn so much about Clara Barton's life. This place is located next to Glen Echo Park.
