Founded in 1977, Chesapeake Montessori School is a coeducational, day school that provides academic programs to students of ages between 2 and 12. The school is accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale, Association of Independent Maryland Schools and Maryland State Department of Education. Its curriculum includes language arts, science, history, music, math, art, physical education and nutrition. Chesapeake Montessori School s language arts program includes written composition, research, word study, grammar and spelling. The school also offers extended-day and summer programs. It operates a parent-teacher organization that works of the development of the school. Chesapeake Montessori School is located in Annapolis, Md.

An amazing, child-centered school that supports exploratory learning and kindness in a small, tight-knit community! I would highly recommend their pre-school to anyone in the Greater Annapolis area!
