Center of Applied Technology

Founded in 1974, the Center of Applied Technology North offers a range of technical education courses. It provides educational courses in various fields, including arts and construction, carpentry, electricity, masonry, plumbing and welding. The center also offers classes in equipment repair, automobile, graphic designing, desktop publishing and printing technologies. It additionally conducts classes in computer technology, network administration and environmental resources management. The Center of Applied Technology North has partnerships with various schools, businesses, institutes and government agencies. The center manages a staff of teachers, counselors, design specialists, and administrative and support personnel. Located in Severn, Md., the Center of Applied Technology North serves students in grades 9 through 12.
