Founded in 1985, Williamsport Retirement Village is one of the communities operated by the Brooke Grove Foundation. Williamsport Retirement Village offers various services, including respite care, assisted living, short-term rehabilitative care, long-term skilled nursing and specialized Alzheimer s disease care. Its assisted living facility accommodates people with a variety of needs and provides assistance, supervision and health-related services. The community s rehabilitative services include physical, occupational and speech therapy programs that include cognitive retraining, pain reduction treatment and evaluation of speech, language, voice, swallowing and cognitive skills. Its nursing care facilities includes assistance with the activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing, intravenous medications, weekly outings and housekeeping. It offers variety of extracurricular events and activities, such as a picnicking, dining at restaurants, shopping trips, pet therapy and playing kickball. The community is located in Williamsport, Md.
