The Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Mission, established in October 1996, serves the Byzantine-Ruthenian Catholic community of upper Montgomery County, Maryland, particularly in Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Germantown. This mission, part of the Eparchy of Passaic, nurtures the spiritual needs of approximately 30 families, many of whom are descendants of immigrants from Central and Eastern Europe.

Welcoming individuals from all ethnic backgrounds, the mission invites the community to join in prayer within the rich traditions of the Eastern Christian and Byzantine styles of worship, all under the umbrella of the worldwide Catholic Church.
