Burma America Buddhist Association

The Burma-America Buddhist Association, located in Silver Spring, Maryland, serves as a monastery for the Burmese American Buddhist community in the Greater Washington, D.C. area, facilitating worship, meditation, festivals, and other holy functions. The association is dedicated to providing the four requisites of food, clothing, shelter, and medicine to its resident Sayadaws, who lead year-round religious activities including Dhammameetings and meditation sessions.
