Beth Shalom Congregation

Beth Shalom Congregation, based in Columbia, Md., is an affiliate of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, offering several programs for men, women, youth, children and seniors. Its programs and activities include adult education, tot Shabbat, junior Shabbat, Adat Shalom, bar and bat mitzvah, Torah study, Dor L Dor and family Havdalah. The temple also provides baby-sitting for young families who attend services on Shabbat morning. The congregation s building features a religious school, sanctuary and kitchen facilities. Beth Shalom also offers its services for life cycle events, including b'nai mitzvah, engagements, new baby, birthday, baby naming, bris, weddings, anniversary and bereavement.
