Mehak Bassi, MD

Erika received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia and received her Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Salisbury University. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and holds certifications by the Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support Health Care Provider.Erika is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Maryland Academy of Physician Assistants.

Andrew Canakis, DO, is a gastroenterologist specializing in advanced endoscopic procedures. Board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Canakis has authored more than 140 publications and presented at national and international conferences. His work appears in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, and he has held leadership roles in academic scholarships, including chairing residency scholarship committees in both Boston and Maryland.
