Barnes & Noble is one of the largest book retailers in the United States that operates mainly through its Barnes & Noble Booksellers chain of bookstores. Headquartered in New York City, the company also operates the smaller bookstore chains, such as Bookstop, Bookstar and B. Dalton Booksellers mostly in outdoor strip malls and shopping malls. Barnes & Noble is known for large, upscale retail outlets, many of which contain a caf serving Starbucks Coffee. Most of its stores also sell magazines, newspapers, DVDs, graphic novels, gifts, games and music. Barnes & Noble s stores average 25,000 square feet and carry up to 200,000 titles, as well as feature lounge chairs and reading tables. The company also owns Sterling Publishing, which annually publishes and distributes more than 1,100 new titles. Barnes & Noble maintains a location in Rockville, Md.

This one is no where near as big as the one in the Rio but it's still nice and usually has the books I'm looking for. The staff is friendly and everything is easy to find. They have a cool book...

I love to read and Barnes and Noble has a huge selection of books. I really like how they discount the new releases. I can find book club selections, children's books, and historical fiction...

I love bookstores! The people at this bookstore are very nice and helpful! I was looking for books for young babies, books that make sounds, and they had lots of them!
