Established in 1963, CENTERSTAGE is one of the leading theater companies in the United States. It stages a variety of classic and contemporary plays, The Matchmaker, Who s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? And Tis Pity Shes by various artists such as Thornton Wilder and Edward Albee by various artists, such as Willy Conley, Robert Dorfman, Karen Hansen, James Magruder and Jefferson Mays. The theater offers online tickets, as well as discount options for students and senior citizens. CENTERSTAGE provides gift certificates of various denominations. The theater is affiliated with the Baltimore Convention and Visitors Association, Baltimore Theatre Alliance, Baltimore Tourism Association, Downtown Partnership of Baltimore and Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.
