Kenneth Means, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, fellowship-trained in hand and upper extremity surgery. He is a hand specialist focusing in hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow trauma, including fractures, dislocations, and carpal and cubital tunnel syndromes, trigger finger, distal biceps injuries, and other conditions affecting the hand, thumb, wrist, and elbow. James Higgins, MD is the Chief of The Curtis National Hand Center at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Jim Higgins is a board-certified plastic surgeon who is fellowship-trained in hand surgery and specializes in microsurgery and reconstruction. Dr. Higgins specializes in complex reconstruction after trauma, microsurgery, congenital hand surgery, and fractures of the arm and wrist. He has been recognized as a leader in complex areas of hand surgery including micorsurgery, hand replanation and transplantation, and wrist reconstruction.
