NW Works is a nonprofit organization that offers a variety of services including administration, rehabilitation, production, supported employment and off-site services. It also offers individualized planning, support and classroom training, on- and off-site paid training and job development services. It provides training and employment every year to more than 180 individuals suffering from long-term disabilities, including mental retardation, developmental disabilities, and physical impairments. It also has a job development department that helps individuals identify their interests and potential to seek community-based employment. It also offers business services that include office cleaning, power washing, stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning, tile and marble care and window washing. The organization was established in 1970, and is located in Winchester, Va.
