Appalachian Bluegrass Shoppe is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1960. Today, Emory and Charlene Knode carry on the music center tradition. We offer our customers a relaxed atmosphere for their musical needs, whether they're here to select a set of strings, check out the latest CD's or purchase a new acoustic guitar.The name of our store "Appalachian Bluegrass Shoppe" is a nod to the fact that the Baltimore area has long been associated with Bluegrass and Folk music, however, we cater to all forms and styles of acoustic musical tastes.
