Annapolis High School

Annapolis High School enrolls more than 1,700 students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as art, mathematics, business education, music, English and naval science. The school additionally conducts classes in world languages, science, physical education and social studies. Annapolis High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as cheerleading, cross country, gymnastics, hockey, track and field, lacrosse, football, wrestling, golf, softball, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Its media center provides access to the Internet and features a collection of books, databases, catalogs, periodicals, encyclopedias, magazines and newspapers. In addition, Annapolis High School has a guidance department that offers counseling services. It is located in Annapolis, Md., and is a part of Anne Arundel County Public Schools.
