Anja Frost, M.D. is a Gyn/Ob practitioner and is a part of the minimally invasive surgery group and multidisciplinary Fibroid Center under the Division of Gynecologic Specialties at Johns Hopkins. She is also the director of robotic simulation in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Dr. Frost completed her medical education at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences before completing residency training in Gyn/Ob at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. She then completed a fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and was recruited to remain at Johns Hopkins as a faculty member. Dr. Frost is a Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence Award recipient.Her research interests include optimization of the patient experience regarding postoperative pain control, and quality improvement projects to optimize surgical workflow and patient safety. Her other professional interests include minimally invasive surgery and treatment of fibroids, adenomyosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis and ovarian cysts.

His research focuses on further improving the safety and effectiveness of catheter ablation and other treatments for atrial fibrillation and other atrial and ventricular arrhythmias.
