Andrew Paul Demidowich, MD

Dr. Redgrave received his B.A. from St. John's College and his M.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in general internal medicine at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and psychiatric residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Redgrave is an attending psychiatrist with clinical expertise in eating disorders. His research focuses on neuroimaging of anorexia using MRI techniques, eating disorder treatment outcomes; he is also developing with basic science collaborators in our department techniques to use imaging to study animal models of eating disorders.Dr. Redgrave was faculty member in the Colleges Advisory Program, where he mentored medical students and taught clinical skills from 2009-2013. He was Associate Director for Residency Education from 2012-2013 and has been Director for Residency Education from 2013.

Dr. Gary Wand is a professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He holds a joint appointment in psychiatry and behavioral sciences. His areas of clinical expertise include endocrinology, neuroendocrine disorders and pituitary disorders. Dr. Wand serves as the director of the fellowship program and the director of the endocrine training program at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.Dr. Wand earned his M.D. and completed his residency at the George Washington University School of Medicine. He performed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at Johns Hopkins.His research interests include the neurobiology of substance abuse and the physiogenetics of the stress response.Dr. Wand has been recognized in “Best Doctors in America” and is a recipient of the National Institutes of Health Merit Award.

Susan Peterson, M.D., is associate medical director for patient safety and quality in the Department of Emergency Medicine and an assistant professor of emergency medicine at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her clinical expertise is emergency medicine. Peterson received her undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency in emergency medicine from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her research interests include operations, administration, quality improvement and patient safety.Peterson is a 2013 Armstrong Institute Resident Scholar.
