All Peoples Congress
The Congress of Aboriginal Peoples (CAP) serves as the national voice for off-reserve Indigenous Peoples in Canada, representing M tis status, Non-status Indians, and Southern Inuit since its establishment in 1971. Recognized by the Government of Canada as one of five National Indigenous Representative Organizations, CAP works to address the unique needs and interests of its community members across the country.
Through various initiatives such as the Indigenous Skills and Employment Training program and the Reconciliation Toolkit for Business Leaders, CAP aims to empower Indigenous individuals and facilitate partnerships that foster social innovation and reconciliation. Additionally, CAP commemorates the significance of Indigenous women and girls through projects focused on raising awareness about the issues they face, including the ongoing crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.
