Able & Willing International Educational Foundation (AWIEF) is a grassroots nonprofit organization based in Frederick, MD. Since its establishment in 1994, AWIEF has been dedicated to improving education, health, and nutrition in areas of extreme poverty and need, particularly in rural villages of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. Through their volunteer staff, AWIEF has successfully built schools, provided free tuition for orphans, and implemented programs such as Work-for-Education to ensure that education is accessible to all. They have also introduced essential amenities like electricity, toilets, and sanitary water supply to previously underserved communities.

AWIEF's notable accomplishments include the construction of one of the best schools in the Katanga region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, offering preschool through technical education. Additionally, AWIEF has shipped over 300 computers to schools in various countries, including Congo, Cameroon, Nicaragua, Liberia, and Kenya.
