The Maritime Radio Historical Society (MRHS) is dedicated to preserving the traditions of maritime radio telegraphy. Founded in 1999, the MRHS aims to honor the men and women who have contributed to the profession of radiotelegrapher by repairing, restoring, and operating historic radio stations such as KPH, KSM, KFS, and K6KPH.

With the support of dedicated volunteers and financial contributions, the MRHS has successfully brought these stations back on the air, maintaining a watch on the Morse calling channels. Through their efforts, the MRHS has created a radio time capsule, ensuring that the legacy of commercial maritime Morse communication is not forgotten.
