YMCA Camp Jordan

Established in 1908, Camp Jordan is located at Branch Lake in Ellsworth, Maine. The camp complex is spread over 200 acres and provides campers with accommodations, dining and various recreational and social activities. It serves a diverse population with families coming from nearby cities and states, as well as other countries. It focuses on the development of thoughtfulness, awareness, self-confidence and leadership in campers. Camp Jordan consists of six one-week sessions starting on Sundays. Its activities include arts and crafts, archery, riflery, ropes and teambuilding, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and environmental education. Additionally, it offers camping skills, painting and drawing sessions, water tubing, as well as various sports activities, such as tennis, volleyball and hockey. Camp Jordan is a part of the Bangor YMCA.
