The Smiling Cow is a 80 year old family owned gift store located in the scenic coastal community of Camden, Maine. This Camden landmark is located atop the Megunticook River as it spills into the Penobscot Bay providing their customers with a priceless view from their back deck. A wide variety of gifts are available from Maine Maple syrup and home made fudge to clothing and jewelry made in Maine. We have shortened hours this summer in response to the Covid 19 epidemic. We are following all CDC guidelines. Masks ARE required as is social distancing and limited numbers of customers at one time. We currently are open 10 am to 4 pm and expect to expand hours in July.

We loved this shop. Bought quite a bit! Lots of variety. Nice location. Employees were super sweet and gave my daughter a 'smiling cow' sticker. Will definitely go here again when we're back...
