The High Tide Inn is a combination of Inn, Hotels, and Cottages located over seven acres of beautifully landscaped lawns, flowers and trees, nestled at the foot of Mt. Megunticook, sloping gradually down to the sea. The attraction to The High Tide Inn is its stunning 180 degree unobstructed views of Penobscot Bay combined with 250 feet of accessible private beach. This beauty and openness, coupled with the tradition of a warm and welcoming staff, freshly baked "popovers" & blueberry muffins, and diverse accommodations is why our guest fall in love with The High Tide Inn. As new owners, were making regular updates and upgrades to the property to bring it back to its original beauty, while adding more ways to enjoy the lovely outdoors. WELCOME!

An absolute diamond! The view of the sea is insane and perfectly framed by forest on either side, a meadow of multicolored flowers and the main building of the inn itself. Rooms are very nice...

So glad we found this place! A lovely property that recalls the good old days of rustic beach cottages, but with modern conveniences. Our room was small and camp-like (think unfinished wood walls)...
