Sweetser

Sweetser is a private, nonprofit, non-sectarian organization providing quality treatment and support to children, adults and families through a network of mental health, behavioral health and educational services. Sweetser maintains five counseling offices and has adult services that include therapy and psychiatric services, as well as housing and banking assistance. Its services for children include case management, a homeless youth program and school-based services that address mental health-based barriers to learning. Sweetser also provides continuing education for psychologists, counselors, nurses and other health professionals. Sweetser is located in Maine and was established in 1828.
