Saco House of Pizza

Saco House of Pizza was established in 1988 by a Greek couple. Once they started a family, they decided to move back to Greece where each one of them originated from. In the beginning, we worked a significant amount of hours each week, but felt it was important to be involved in the day to day operation to insure fast service and serve quality food. This proved to be a huge success. In February of 2000, we purchased the building where our business is located. This building was built in the late 1800's and serves as a historical building in the downtown area on Main Street in Saco. Through the years, life has changed for us personally. We now have a family of own. Therefore, our hours spent in the restaurant are a little less than those in previous years. Fortunately, we have a very dependable, trustworthy, loyal and dedicated staff. The staff is made up of family members, employees from the previous owner, and individuals we have hired and trained ourselves. The majority of our staff members have been with us for several years. They are always looking out for the best interest of the business. Customer Service is a definite positive side in our business. Our staff focuses on fast and friendly service. We will accommodate almost any special request you may have on a pizza, grinder, salad or pasta meal. In this business, we all feel it is important to have professional, respectful, courteous and helpful disposition toward one another. Team effort is something that plays a big role in the success of this business! Our Product Our pizza is famous for its Greek recipe and our dough is made fresh every day. As a result, this gives us the consistency to have a delicious, golden crust when cooked at just the right temperature. Our sauce is made up of a special blend of spices, oils, premium tomato sauces and a dash of T.L.C. We grind all of the cheese ourselves and make up our own blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. We have a wide variety of meat and vegetable toppings to choose from so it's all about customer preference. Also, if you do not want the traditional tomato sauce pizza, we offer gourmet specialty pizzas. The sauce choices on these pizzas can be a white sauce, Barbeque Sauce or salsa sauce and then delicious toppings are added on top. Along with all these different pizzas available, our menu has a wide variety of grinders, salads, appetizers, burgers and pasta meals.
