SW Boatworks was founded by Capt. Stewart Workman in 2000. Stewart grew up in the lobster fishing business... his father was a lobster boat owner and also spent time wholesaling lobsters on the shores of Prospect Harbor, Maine. As a young boy, Stewart was fascinated by boats, fishing, and the old time fishermen that took him out on the waters each day. Both in Jr. High and High School, he ran his own boat and pulled lobsters out of the waters by his home.
