Rockport Charters

History

Captain Rob grew up on a schooner in the 60 s, as his parents ran a charter business in the Grenadines. He has lived on and around the water his entire life as a sailor, fishermen, and commercial diver. Making the switch to power in charter work allows him to work year round. Rockport Charters has been connecting locals and visitors alike with the Penobscot Bay region. We go beyond the two hour cruise to take a deeper look at what this incredible bay and it's ecosystem have to offer.

Specialties

We specialize in private charters on the Harvest Moon, a 36 foot fully equipped lobster cruiser vessel. Your captain, is a local who has lived and worked on the waters here most of his life. We offer island tour's, lobster cookouts, island camping trips, lobster fishing demonstrations, and informational tours of the penobscot bay region. Other highlights are wildlife tours. We look at the seals seabirds porpoises and puffins that live here. Sunset cruises, educational tours of the area. We carry up to 18 passenger comfortably equipped with indoor and outdoor seating.
