Pathways of Maine

The Providence Service Corporation of Maine is a division of the Providence Service Corporation, a network of providers that includes more than 37,000 clients served from approximately 205 locations in more than 30 states. The PSC of Maine specializes in nonresidential community-based services. It seeks to collaborate with and support community agencies in their efforts to strengthen families, reduce out-of-home placements and provide youth opportunities to develop skills to become productive, contributing member of their communities. A lead program is its Merrymeeting Center for Child Development. MCCD provides home-, community- and center-based services for children with autism spectrum disorders. The goals of MCCD services are to increase desirable behaviors, reduce interfering behaviors and maximize the self-sufficiency and potential of each child and family. In addition to MCCD, programs offered include family preservation services, virtual residential programs, and home-, school- and community-based care.
