Next Generation first opened its doors for business in 1993. Today, current owner, Tracy MacPhee has continued the focus on being a small specialty shop. Providing a line of clothing that is fun, original and well made. They carry a few of the top children's brands including 'Flap Happy', 'Wes & Willy', 'Fresh Produce', 'Yound Colors', 'Trumpette', 'Mud Pie', 'Robeez' & 'Life is Good'. There is a large selection of plush & wooden toys by 'Melissa & Doug', 'Ty Inc', 'North American Bear Co'& 'Gund'. Next Generation is proud to offer Made in Maine & Made in the USA products as well as organics.

Not surprised that this business has 1 star. Not surprised that others have commented on the rude owner. I stopped in here with a toddler and the owner couldn't have made us feel less welcome....

Extremely cute store, but the person working there on Saturday was extremely rude. I tried asking about parking, I am not from here, and she was nasty from the start, but I decide to still shop...
