History

The New England Film Academy was founded as a non-profit corporation in 2005 by Christopher Watkins, a local filmmaker from the Portland area. Chris along with our Board of Directors are dedicated to not only the success of the Academy but in expanding and improving opportunities for the young aspiring filmmakers in New England and introducing as many kids as possible to the exciting world of film production.
