Fred Murray, a lifelong mid-coastal resident, with over 20 years of experience in the construction and landscaping field, established Murray's Grounds keeping, Inc. in the spring of 1985. Fred hired John Drake, the current owner, in the spring of 1987. John excelled at each task and responsibility he was given. He progressed from his position as a laborer, to a crew leader, to a supervisor and then to the general manager's position. Murray's Groundskeeping Inc. & Outdoor LivingSpace, led by General Manager, John Drake, a highly experienced and long-standing employee, we have established a solid reputation for quality and dependability. We belong to the Associated Constructors of Maine (ACM), the Maine Landscaping and Nursery Association (MeLNA), and the Maine Arborists Association.
