Mid-Coast Regional Planning Commission

The Mid-Coast Regional Planning Commission (MCRPC) was an organization serving ten municipalities and one county in Knox County, Maine, focused on land-use and transportation planning. As of September 30, 2019, the Executive Board determined that it was necessary to dissolve the corporation, leading to a resolution adopted on October 7, 2019, for a vote among its members.

Upon dissolution, MCRPC planned to transfer its planning documents and historical files to the Mid-Coast Economic Development District (MCEDD). It is expected that MCEDD will continue to provide planning services to the municipalities in Knox County after the completion of the dissolution process.
