Maine's fun, safety-conscious, value-priced whitewater outfitter on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers, offering trips from May to October. Magic Falls base facility offers a campground with tent sites and cabin tents, a lodge with king, queen and bunk rooms (ADA room) and a restored farmhouse sleeping 16 for family groups who wish to have all the comforts of home. The base has changing rooms and showers, half court basketball, volleyball, recreation pavilion. Magic Falls was the first to offer a double run of the upper Kennebec Gorge for action-packed adventurers and an upper gorge 1/2 day morning trip called "Cheap Thrills". Want just a taste of rafting? The Cheap Thrills trip is a half day of thrills on the upper Kennebec Gorge, or try a leisurely float tubing trip for just $25 on the lower Kennebec and pack your own refreshments.

I have gone 3 times here, and they do a great job. Good experience all around. Large groups can rent the lodge, it's a cool place to hang after rafting. BYOB !
