The Lookout is a classic Maine shore-front inn with B&B inn rooms, cottages, fine dining and catering offerings. Come back in time with us. The Lookout has been owned by the same family since 1762, and operated as a shorefront getaway for over 130 years. Our cottages are pet friendly, have kitchen facilities, decks, barbeques, everything you need to relax with a panoramic water view. Inn rooms sport classic furnishings and come with a full breakfast, often cooked by the owner. Our meadow overlooking six diffent bodies of water is the perfect place for your wedding, family reunion, or other catering event. It is even great for plain old fun with frisbees and kites. The Lookout shoreline gives its guests access to a kayak launch (the rock by the apple tree), sunning (and swimming for the bold), low-tide walks to our kissing trees and beyond.
