Leavitt Area High School

Leavitt Area High School is affiliated with Maine Administrative School District 52 that also operates five other elementary, middle and high schools. It offers classes from grades nine through 12 in various subjects, such as social studies, earth science, performing arts, English, music, physical education, special education and math. The school also offers vocational courses in industrial arts, family and consumer science and industrial technology, as well as language programs in Spanish, French and Latin. The school facility comprises a science lab, computer lab, gymnasium, cafeteria, library, softball and baseball complexes, football stadium and a marching band field. Leavitt Area High School has more than 70 professional personnel, over 25 support staff, and is located in Turner, Maine.
