History

As a practicing physician I was seeing an alarming increase in obesity in my patients, with devastating health consequences. I was frustrated with medicine's approach to the problem and the oversimplification of the cause. As I learned more and started measuring body composition, I began to understand the magnitude and complexity of the problem. This clinic specializes in helping people achieve and then maintain a healthy body composition. For some this means losing weight, but many people with normal weight have unhealthy body composition. They need to lose fat and gain muscle. Lean Logic is about creating optimal health and vitality, while reducing the rate of accelerated aging. We recognize that fat accumulation is a sign of a metabolism that has been knocked out of balance. The multiple causes of obesity must be understood and addressed with individualized therapies.
