The Androscoggin Lake Improvement Corporation (ALIC) is a dedicated organization that aims to preserve and protect the beautiful Androscoggin Lake in Wayne and Leeds, Maine. With over 120 member families and supporters, ALIC is recognized as a strong environmental advocacy group and innovative lake association, closely affiliated with the Lake Stewards of Maine Volunteer Lake Monitoring Program, the Maine Lakes Society, and the 30 Mile River Watershed Association.

Androscoggin Lake, spanning 4000 acres, is not only a popular recreational resource but also an important wildlife habitat for endangered species, a thriving fishery, and a home to rare plant communities.
