History

Dan Kaler opened Kaler's in 1998. He had been, and continued to be, a lobsterman with an entrepreneurial spirit. The restaurant, now owned and run by his son Sam, is housed in the old Maine Trading Post building on the waterfront in Boothbay Harbor.

Specialties

Located right at the edge of the harbor, Kaler's cheerful staff will be waiting for you. We offer harborside dining in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Our menu offers everything from fresh seafood to sandwiches and burgers.
