Most amazing outdoor bar in Maine. Great live music in the daytime in a garden setting. Fire pits to sit around when it a little chilly. Can't wait to return.

--The Ivy Manor Inn is hotel, not a bed & breakfast-- Ivy Manor Inn is an elegant inn located on Main Street in Bar Harbor Village. Built as a residence in 1939, it was converted into an inn in 1996. Without compromising its English Tudor style, the owners renovated the interior and added new features such as en suite bathrooms, decks, mantel fireplaces, and off-street parking. Ivy Manor Inn may not be a bed and breakfast, but we do serve tea, coffee, and a variety of breakfast treats each morning. We offer a variety of eighteen gracious king and queen suites. Most have fireplaces and adjacent decks. Bar Harbor’s popular Village Green, with its fountain, bandstand, and inviting benches, is located diagonally across the street. Nearby shops and galleries abound. Access to the mile-long scenic shore path is but one street away.

We booked cottage #15 thinking it would be a nicer room than inside the hotel. Wrong. What I liked about the hotel was the parking was free, cottages were quiet, blueberry muffins were excellent....
