Island Dog Brewing was established by a husband and wife team, Jim and Jody, in 2016 as a small craft brewery, primarily producing Belgian and German-inspired ales, herb and spice ales, and seasonal ales. Our product doctrine is to keep our batches small and our quality high. The name embodies our shared love for our two rescue dogs (from Puerto Rico and Costa Rica) and the beauty of Coastal Maine. Jody grew up on Mount Desert Island (MDI) where her father was a lobsterman until his retirement. We have taken great care building a comfortable space for you to try some of our beer with friends and family. Enjoy OTTO's Pizza delivered to your table or a craft hot dog from our TOP Dog cart. Nonesuch River Brewing has a full service restaurant in Poland, Maine! Located on Middle Range Pond off Route 26. 600 feet of waterfront property offers beautiful outdoor seating in the spring and summer and great views plus easy access to ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter! We brew all our own beers at our brewery/event venue located in picturesque Scarborough and serve a combination of elevated classics and unique dishes created by Head Chef Joseph Bellman, made from scratch using locally sourced ingredients. Open seven days a week year-round offering dine-in and takeout service!
