Inclusive Ski Touring

Inclusive Ski Touring (IST) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering an inclusive uphill community through financially accessible group programs focused on ski touring and split boarding. By lowering barriers and creating a welcoming environment, IST aims to provide opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly those from marginalized communities, to explore and enjoy outdoor activities.

Since its founding, IST has successfully engaged over 2,000 participants, with a significant effort to make programs available at little to no cost. In 2024, the organization welcomed 745 individuals, 70% of whom were new to touring, and its programs were subsidized by $40,000, showcasing its commitment to diversity and accessibility in the outdoor industry.
