Homemade By Hyla started out as a fun craft to make a lip balm chapstick that works and doesn't leave my lips even more dry and chapped than before! What started as an at home craft turned into a recipe that surprisingly rocked and became the only go-to chapstick that kept my family and friends' lips stay cool and happy through out dry, crisp Maine winters. Now as I venture onward to my next journey as a nursing student in college, I decided to promote my chapsticks online and in stores in an effort to continue my love for crafts and projects while also earning a fun to go towards my schooling. Since starting making the chapstick, I have also started making hand scrubs, lip scrubs, and scrunchies which are all available on my Etsy shop! Thanks, and enjoy!
