Hebron Academy

Hebron Academy is one of the oldest endowed boarding schools in the United States, and is located in Hebron, Maine. The school, chartered in 1804, is an independent, college preparatory boarding and day school for boys and girls in grades six through postgraduate. Students from across the United States and around the world are challenged through small classes, knowledgeable teachers and a supportive educational community that encourages individuality and respects individual differences. It offers several advanced placement and honors options and various subjects, such as religion and philosophy, fine and performing arts, and environmental studies. Hebron Academy offers a wide variety of activities including community service, entrepreneurial and leadership programs, outing and chess clubs, math team, literary magazine, and a rock band. Its competitive sports program includes hockey, football, golf, mountain biking, soccer, basketball, swimming, baseball, softball, tennis and track.
