Fort Kent Fire & Rescue

The Fort Kent Fire and Rescue Department, located on Dufour Street, is a paid-on-call stipend fire department serving not only Fort Kent but also the neighboring communities of St. John Plantation, Wallagrass, and New Canada. Covering an area of 184 square miles, the department provides a comprehensive range of emergency services, including structural firefighting, hazardous materials mitigation, and public fire education.
